For Love’s Sake – Free YourSelf

(Disclaimer) Sorry, reading this again a few months later i realize that i was too excited or something… because it’s all over the place… anyway.  : ) 

The secret to paradise is a perspicacious/keen mind – Realizing that we do have access to the code that brings the Great “Kingdom” to earth. The great empire happens internally… and the persecution and the suffering that Christ (amongst others) speaks of – is not the persecution because of a belief or a doctrine or a faith or a religion… but because of an enlightenment. Or a Freedom if you like.

I think that real Security – knowing yourself – is manifested in being able to love immediately and freely. Love isn’t about proving or being concerned about your image… it’s FREE. It (love) is real freedom. Freedom from Egoism, freedom from yourself – the most insidious of all evils. The world we live in does not realize the difference between Love and Desire. That, I think, is what we need to grasp. Not that love isn’t selfish… but that the ‘me’ in love must at most come second. The fruits of this labor IS that ‘heaven’ humankind yearns for so much.

But Alas, the world breeds this fear (insecurity) and egoism with incredible diligence. It demands beauty, power, prestige, status…etc. Value is placed in all the wrong areas… people respect each other for the wrong reasons (accomplishments/status). This world is all about “attaining” this and that. Not realizing that attainment in this world means being ‘better’ than the next, a constant state of comparison with those around… creating an incredible fertilizer for fear/insecurity and egoism.

When born into this world… the only way you don’t drown in Despair is if you join in and become a part of it, or so it seems. The best thing this world paradigm does…, Is Suicide. Surprisingly and ironically… a suicide is always followed by a realization of how shitty we are to others… how much we lack appreciation and care… regret. The shock of suicide is often the Upset of what I would Call a “reality check.” A realization of how much Desire reigns our lives as opposed to Love. Suddenly the other matters more than ME! … of course it’s too late, Reality Check, and we regret.

On this earth, a “me-world-social (even in more collective societies) construction” truly reigns supreme… its potency is in the ignorance of those who live within. Ignorance… Ignorance can be bliss, but it’s not Free (maybe that’s why it’s blissful). Having said that however – living Free in a Bonded world… now that is persecution. Living for Love in a world that only Desires… now that is persecution – which i believe the Bible was and is truly speaking about (as mentioned earlier).

Real freedom is Love… and Love is real freedom. This real freedom, hence love, is only possible when the Self loses first place (maybe this is the true message of Christ). When you Judge… you place yourself First. When you Hate – you place yourself first. When you are greedy, lustful, murderous… etc. in all these things, you usually place yourself FIRST. That is what makes it wrong… nothing else. 

The irony of Egoism (self-preservation, selfishness etc) is that it drowns and kills us. The irony of Egoism’s Self Concern is that it bases everything on Others!… It is nothing in Itself!!! … It is so lacking of self-confidence that the only form of self-value comes in the form of Social/external Acceptance… or Attainment, an attainment that must be seen and appreciated by others – for any worth.

Basically Egoism IS THE direct result of Insecurity. And Insecurity is the Direct result of Egoism. I think everyone is insecure to varying degrees, because we are beings who need to love and be loved. Those who worry most about themselves, their image, their coolness, are those who are the most dependent and needy. This is masked with repulsive confidence… one that needs to talk down, one that immediately gauges the “social value” of the other, (how ‘cool’ they are) then responds accordingly… one that never relaxes because it is always competing!… always getting worth from ‘feeling’ others below – or being looked up to/praised. (a man is tested by the praise he receives – S.K.)    

Sorry i am free-thoughting and seem to be repeating myself in various ways. maybe you can expand on this thought as you understand it. . . or have understood it.
